Each sign is made from 18 gauge steel with a baked enamel finish and each sign has a 14 gauge surround to resist corrosion. The neon tubes used in these Neon Signs are created by people who believe the bending of the glass is a true artform so they are still manufactured the 'old fashioned' way. Each neon sign is hand made and manufactured to provide you with the best possible reproduction vintage sign possible, all you have to do when you get it home is hang it on the wall and plug it in. Best of all, any neon tube that would happen to malfunction can be easily replaced so the sign can be good as new in no time. Mounting the signs is a snap! Each neon sign includes a long piece of aluminum extruded material called a 'z-clip' that is mounted to the back of the sign and another mounted to the shipping crate. Simply remove the one attached to the crate and screw it in to the wall you want to hang the sign on and you are finished. Each 'z-clip' is designed to hit studs at 16' or 24' on center.
