From the Barber Shop and Shoe Shine Memories licensed collection, this 21 Nugget Vintage Metal Sign measures 12 inches by 24 inches and weighs in at 3 lb(s). Nugget Boot Polish, a popular British shoe polish that was one of the earliest products actually called shoe polish. Most others were boot/shoe blacking. This sign was derived from a large 1920’s German Market standup show card showing a Porter or Bootblack holding a shined shoe with his reflection on the toes of the shoe. The Nugget polish company merged with Chiswick companies in the 1929. This metal sign is a unique die cut imitation of the original. This Vintage Metal Sign is hand made in the USA using heavy gauge American steel.
